Community members gathered for Middleburg’s third annual Oktoberfest, a
celebration filled with fun, food, and festivities. The event featured two biergartens
offering a selection of Oktoberfest beer from Old Ox Brewery and Lost Barrel Brewing, as
well as wine from Greenhill Vineyards, Cana Vineyards, 50 West Vineyards, and Boxwood
Winery, and cider from Mt. Defiance Cidery and Distillery.
Attendees enjoyed German-inspired food, a lively stein holding contest, live music, and a
variety of interactive children’s activities. The Art Fair showcased the work of 25 local and
regional artists, adding a creative flair to the festivities. The event also included a car show,
providing something for everyone to enjoy. Oktoberfest in Middleburg has become a
cherished tradition, bringing the community together for a day of celebration.
